The name PRI derives from the first name of my daughter Priscilla.
It is my selection of Garganega grapes, grown on old vines (50 years old) located in the highest part of the Gambellara hills, and usually harvested in the first part of October.

Garganega is the local grape variety on the volcanic hillsides of Gambellara. Our vineyards are located in a small sub-zone called Creari where the soils also have a proportion of limestone, which enables the grape variety to best express itself. On the Gambellara hills, the oldest vines are more than 50 years old.
The PRI is sapid and mineral; a short skin-contact maceration (about 3 days) in the fermentation phase, which takes place in large oak barrels (15-20hl), wonderfully enhances the character of the garganega. The maturation takes place in large barrels (15-20hl) for at least 8 months, with a long stay on the fine lees, held in suspension during the winter and spring, before being bottled.
Intense colour and lots of personality in a very structured wine. Extreme territorial expression.
